And now, a few words from Christopher Walken

This was the weekend of “Skyfall” (biggest James Bond opening ever!) and “Lincoln” ($82K per-screen average!), but lost in the shuffle is a nice little movie about classical musicians, called “A Late Quartet” and now playing in Seattle. It features Christopher Walken in a beautifully controlled, quietly moving performance; without a whiff of the usual oddballs he tends to play. Here’s an interview with Walken in the New York Times, in which he talks about how “there’s a lot of me” in this part, and how he likes to study his lines while cooking chicken. Just seemed like the right way to start off a Monday morning.
