That Jon Hamm/Daniel Radcliffe miniseries

I blogged about this back when I first heard about it earlier this year, but it didn’t seem quite real: Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe, starring in a British miniseries about a Russian doctor in 1917 — and playing the same character at different ages. Well, apparently it’s indeed real, despite the rather striking height differences between Hamm and Radcliffe (I guess the good doctor had a growth spurt in his mid-20s), and called “A Young Doctor’s Notebook.” It will air in the U.K. starting Dec. 6; currently there’s no deal for a U.S. telecast, but we shall see. Here’s the trailer, complete with Hamm and Radcliffe in the tub together (there’s a phrase I never thought I’d type). Looks intriguing, no?
