Mila: The Great and Powerful

This clip’s making the rounds of the Internet today, and for good reason. It’s Mila Kunis, star of “Oz: The Great and Powerful” being interviewed by an absolutely terrified young BBC radio chap, and it’s a kick. (I feel for this guy, because doing movie-star interviews is a very weird and unnerving thing, particularly for those of us who are on the reserved side and don’t usually sit around asking questions of famous strangers. For the record, my very first movie-star interview was about 12 years ago, and it was Jeff Bridges, and I was probably every bit as nervous as this BBC guy, though I didn’t ask Mr. Bridges to come to a wedding with me, or if he’d ever “dropped trou,” more’s the pity. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer person for my first interview; he was absolutely charming. As is Mila, who here demonstrates that she’s a real mensch. And that she can pour a pint of beer without foam.)
