An Oscar-season pronunciation guide

Sometimes, you don’t know what you need until you get it. (That sounds like it should be a song lyric, shouldn’t it?) Thanks today go to the good people at Slate.com, who have assembled a pronunciation guide, complete with video, for many of this year’s hard-to-pronounce potential Oscar contenders. I’m sure Chiwetel Ejiofor (“12 Years a Slave”) and Adele Excharchopoulos (“Blue Is the Warmest Color”), among many others, share the gratitude. Read and watch it here, and never mispronounce Cate Blanchett (who knew?) again.
