Rewind: The Seattle Times’ online Oscar party

And the Oscars have ended, with a mixed bag of results: The top awards were split between “12 Years a Slave” (3 Oscars, including the top prize of Best Picture), “Gravity” (7 Oscars, including Best Director), and “Dallas Buyers Club” (3 Oscars, including Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor). Favorite moments of the night, from my chair: Lupita Nyong’o’s dress (and speech), the “Let It Go” songwriting couple charmingly accepting their award in rhyme, and Darlene Love’s joyous warbling (she was among those accepting the documentary award, for “20 Feet From Stardom”) of “His Eye Is On the Sparrow.” Rewind, and relive, our Oscar chat here.
