Fun with Meryl and Emma

I don’t know about you, but I was just sitting around thinking how much more fun this day would be if I could listen to Emma Thompson making animal sounds, or Meryl Streep reading a Wikipedia entry in the voice of a bored teenager. Behold.

By the way, if you’re wondering when you might next see these two on screen, here’s the latest: Streep appears in “The Giver,” opening in August, “Into the Woods” (as the witch”) coming for Christmas, and in the as-yet-undated films “The Homesman” and “Suffragette.” Thompson next appears in the period film “Effie Gray,” Jason Reitman’s “Men, Women & Children,” and “A Walk in the Woods,” based on Bill Bryston’s memoir.
