Island pot growers hopeful they won’t face transportation hassles

Pot growers on places like Vashon and San Juan Island without road access to other areas of the state are ready to get going.

But neither the Coast Guard nor the FAA  have given the okay to transport it across the water, and Washington State Ferries says it doesn’t want pot on its boats.

It appears unlikely growers will be hassled, but it remains a concern.
