Daily Rant & Rave: Talking through a movie no way to celebrate

RAVE To Barb, Wendy and all the Veterans Affairs associates at the Bellevue and Seattle offices. We shouldn’t be so hasty to paint the VA with the same tainted brush. They’ve been wonderful and very helpful assisting me with my 93-year-old dad, I thank them for making the process easy, fast and painless.

RANT To the group of boys who talked and made loud noises at the movie theater, although I asked them three times to be quiet. At the end of the movie, while the credits were still rolling, one of the adults in the group came up to me ranting in my face about how I ruined her 9-year-old’s birthday party. I said that the boys were noisy and there are other people in the theater and they should have manners. Obviously those boys don’t have a role model that will help them live a thoughtful life.
