Daily Rant & Rave: Rave for $100 gift, rant for political signs

RAVE

To the nice man who gave my mom $100 at the casino on the Fourth of July. It was her first outing in a week after suffering a small stroke and being in the hospital. She doesn’t see very well and didn’t know what he’d given her. When we told her what it was, she was so happy. It made a bad week thrilling for her, and we all thank you.

RANT

Political signs are popping up all over –  must we really be subjected to this blight all summer/fall? Many of them are already falling down, in the roads and covering sidewalks, more litter and clogs for the storm drains. Enough!
