Daily Rant & Rave: Hey, get a room!

RAVE To the road-bike rider on the Burke-Gilman Trail who noticed that I was looking for something and stopped to help me search for my glasses. They had gone flying when I grabbed at my helmet after an insect sting while I was riding.  After 20 minutes, we finally found my glasses in the bog. Thank you for your help, Sharon!

RANT To the young couple “making out” at the base of the hike at Snoqualmie Falls while at least 6 young impressionable girls, women, my grown daughter and I were trying to enjoy this wonderful park. That’s not how strong women and men who respect women behave. It may not be a stated rule, but society values good common sense.
