Daily Rant & Rave: Thanks, VA hospital

RAVE To the staff at Seattle’s VA (Veterans Affairs Administration) hospital for their help in making my first appointment go smoothly, including the call a few days before my visit to give directions and parking information; the volunteer staff at the Information Desk who kindly had two high school volunteers guide me to my clinic; and finally to the three doctors who performed the examination and tests and ensured I understood what was happening and made me as comfortable as possible. There are good things that need to be recognized about our VA.

RANT To all the greedy commercial pickers picking big bags of blackberries from our local public parks. Leave some fruit for the citizens!
