Daily Rant & Rave: Chill out about rugrats, Rembrandt

RAVE To the very kind lady who gave my 5-year-old granddaughter a beautiful, color-changing glow stick at the Westlake light rail station after the Torchlight Run and Parade. My granddaughter had just run as much as she could of the 5K with her daddy and was tired and happy — this gift from a stranger made a special day even more special.

RANT To the artists at the Bellevue art festival who scolded children who walked in their booths before the kids touched anything. They were rude and assumed that the kids were going to bump into something, knock something over or break their art. Adults are guilty of breaking things as well.
