Daily Rant & Rave: Thanks for the Lou Piniella bobblehead!

RAVE To the kind souls that generously gave their Lou Piniella bobblehead to my brother at Lou Piniella Mariners Hall of Fame Night. My brother has Down syndrome, is a HUGE Mariner fan and had been talking about this game since it was announced. He had his heart set on getting a bobblehead but unfortunately, we arrived too late and were not able to get one at the door. The nice gentlemen sitting behind us and a kind woman on the concourse offered theirs and made his night. There are no words to express how much it meant to him. We offered to purchase the bobbleheads from these individuals and they declined the money. We will pay it forward!

RANT To the planners of the Obliteride event for blocking all access to UW Medical Center for over an hour Sunday morning. For employees trying to get to work, not only were we late but we also delayed patient care.
