Daily Rant&Rave: Hold off on Halloween and Christmas

RAVE To the burly and friendly construction site flagger on Dexter Avenue who greets the hundreds of passing cyclists each day with “Good morning!” “Have a nice weekend!”, or “Sorry for the delay!”: You’ve been making my day all summer long.

RANT To major retailers who are always getting a “jump” on the season. I’ve already discovered Halloween candy at a drugstore and I heard that Pumpkin Spice Lattes are  back starting Aug. 25th. It’s still summer, pumpkins aren’t even ripe yet! Hopefully we can get through getting the kids back to school before retailers start putting out Christmas displays.
