Daily Rant&Rave: Clean up Golden Gardens

RAVE For Bruce, the gentleman bicyclist who helped when my friend had a flat tire that we were embarrassingly unprepared to repair. He gave her a tube, changed the tire and patiently explaining how to do it for future reference. Thanks, Bruce! We’ll never bike unprepared again.

RANT There’s too many people doing illegal activities in Golden Gardens Park, along the railroad tracks, and on the trails/stairways along Golden Gardens Drive, with litter, graffiti and illegally parked vehicles. The Shilshole extension to the Burke-Gilman Trail is overgrown with vegetation and trashed with beer and liquor containers and other debris. Locals, please report violations to the police or Parks Department, and let’s hope they do their part and follow through.
