Daily Rant&Rave: Watch for pedestrians, drivers

RAVE To the crew on the Kaleetan ferry on a recent sailing to Orcas Island. We arrived early, but not early enough and probably didn’t deserve to make it on the boat, but thanks to the skills of the ferry crew they managed to squeeze us on as the very last car. We felt like we won the lottery!

RANT To me for looking to the left for oncoming traffic and not paying attention to the pedestrian that started to cross in front of my car. I almost hit him. I apologized profusely and will be more careful after that close call.
