Daily Rant&Rave: Shrieking toddlers

RAVE For our neighbor near Thornton Creek who’s beautifully landscaped his side of the creek using his own money and labor. Wish we had more citizens like him.

RANT To idiots who think that a packed Mariners game is an appropriate place for toddler playtime. While the parents relaxed several seats away, they let their 1- to 4-year-olds use the area behind my husband’s and my seats to play, paying no attention to their roughhousing and shrill shrieks. The game was packed; there was no where for us to move. When I politely pointed out to one parent that my husband chose to leave and watch the game while standing in the back, the parent, without missing a beat, said: “You should have gone with him.” Wow.
