Daily Rant&Rave: Long wait for Husky Metrobus

RAVE To the wonderful gentleman who helped my mom and me to our seats at the Seahawks game, including taking my mom’s hand to help steady her so she’d   feel secure as we made our way toward the top of the stadium. We both thank him!

RANT To Metro from the hundreds of us waiting for the Huskies “Special” downtown bus after the Eastern Washington game Saturday, standing on Montlake across from Husky Stadium for 40 minutes waiting for a bus. All the other Metro Park and Ride buses heading to the suburbs had left and SPD had returned Montlake traffic to normal. The Metro staff keep saying “he’s on his way” as impatience grew. Grade “F” Metro. Grade our driver an “A” for his helpfulness at various bus stops once we got downtown.
