Daily Rant&Rave: Windstorm clean-up help

RAVE For the kind, thoughtful neighbor who showed up with her two sons to pick up branches and rake our large yard and driveway following the recent wind and rainstorm. My wife and I require canes to get around and truly appreciate our good neighbors.

RANT  Everyone who throws trash from a vehicle is a disgrace, a lout and a simpleton. Surely your parents taught you better; or maybe they didn’t and set a bad example. But it’s simple: Hold on to your trash, reach your destination, then dispose of that trash in an appropriate receptacle, as you would in your own home (one would hope). Don’t be a slob. Don’t trash the countryside. Be a responsible and considerate citizen.
