RAVE To the gentleman in a wheelchair who saw me drop my wallet running uphill on Third Avenue to the light-rail station. It was pouring rain and I had a plane to catch, and he really went out of his way to catch up to me, he was awesome!
RANT To those vendors and restaurants who require staff to card everyone who buys alcohol, regardless of obvious age. It reflects lack of common sense and is the opposite of hospitality. Carding someone who may possibly be underage is one thing, but carding this 60-year-old or my 90-year-old-mother is not amusing and reflects distrust of your staff. The law requires that you not serve underage individuals, not that you obtain identification from people who are obviously legal age two or more times over.
