Daily Rant&Rave: Grinches at Westlake tree lighting

RAVE To the PCC employee who answered the phone one minute before closing at 11 p.m. the night before Thanksgiving when I frantically realized I’d forgotten to buy potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner and asked if I could still come and get some. She said “yes,” greeted me at the door when I arrived, handed me a 5 lb. bag of organic russets and said, “We’ve already closed the till, so don’t worry about it. You can pay next time you’re in.” Her kindness was much appreciated.

RANT To the protesters that showed up at Westlake during the tree lighting festivities, ruining everyone’s evening and showing children what real Grinches are. There were so many other public places you could have staged your protest.
