Daily Rant&Rave: Mud flap your truck, please

RAVE To the Seattle city crew for coming out and fixing a curb that had a metal piece sticking up about 6 inches on the same day I called the hotline to report it. Thanks for quick action!
RANT A chipped paint, cracked windshield rant to everyone driving a truck, van or large car without proper mud flaps: you’re causing thousands of dollars in damage to anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in the rock and debris spewing out behind you. The law says the width of the wheel has to be covered and the flap must extend downward to the center of the axle. Do all of us a favor and cover up, please.
