Daily Rant&Rave: Protest blocked hospital access

RAVE To all the people who helped my 80-year-old mother when she passed out, fell and hit her head while shopping. Everyone was amazing. She got bumps, bruises and a couple of staples in her head but she’ll be fine. Extra rave to the store staff for calling later to check on her condition.
RANT To the city of Seattle, UW security and SPD for not controlling the protesters on campus and around Montlake Bridge on Saturday. Blocking traffic and inconveniencing shoppers is one thing, but when traffic to and from a hospital is disrupted. delaying health care workers, nurses and doctors getting for work and possibly delaying emergency vehicles from prompt care, that’s another thing entirely.
