Daily Rant&Rave: Christmas dinner for the homeless right ‘in every way’

RAVE For the kind woman in front of me in line at Costco a few days before Christmas. As I unloaded 12 boxes of spinach from my overflowing cart she said, “I have to ask?” I told her my family was preparing Christmas dinner for a Tent City and were glad we could. Without my knowing, she left $20 with the checker to help pay for my groceries. Her kindness meant the world to me when I was feeling a bit overwhelmed at the prospect of feeding 100. She helped affirm that we made the right choice for our Christmas, which proved to be true in every way.
RANT To high prices at downtown Seattle parking garages. It cost me $14 for an hour and 10 minutes. From now on, I’ll be going to the mall.
