Daily Rant&Rave: Mama Sherman ‘raised a son with such a generous spirit.’

RAVE  To Richard Sherman, who gave an 84-year-old Seahawks fan a very special Christmas, and to Mama Sherman, who raised a son with such a generous spirit. While Richard Sherman was in a meeting in San Francisco with EA Games after winning the Madden 15 cover vote, my dad’s name somehow came up in the conversation as a longtime Seahawks fan. Richard tucked that brief exchange away in his memory, and a few days later EA Games received a #25’s jersey signed “Bill, thanks for being an original 12th Man” that they forwarded to me for my dad. Can you imagine how insanely busy Richard is, with constant demands on his time and energy? It’s impressive he would take the time to honor an elderly fan with such a gracious act of kindness.
RANT  To all who have forgotten or never learned proper punctuation. Instead of the often-seen “Go Hawks,” it should be “Go, Hawks!”
