Daily Rant&Rave: Chatty young kids disrupt PG-13 movie

RAVE To the man at Target who turned in my checkbook and cash to the service desk. It warms the heart to know there’s honest people out there. I’m usually so careful but got distracted this time. You helped avert a disaster for me, bless you!
RANT To the parents who brought kids ages about 5 and 7 to the PG-13 movie “Unbroken” that deals with the atrocities of prisoners of war Their constant talking (“Is he dead?” “What’s happening now, Dad?”) was disruptive and distracting for adults who were trying to be fully engaged in the movie. Next time hire a baby-sitter so you and all of the other paying adults can enjoy a serious movie with “grown-up” movie theater behavior.
