Sport catch results for the coastal salmon fishery

Here are the coastal ocean salmon sport fishery results compiled by state Fish and Wildlife:

ILWACO

June 28: 275 anglers with 14 chinook and 469 coho.

June 29-July 5: 2,549 anglers with 178 chinook and 4,257 coho.

July 6-12: 3,066 anglers with 154 chinook and 5,451 coho.

July 13-19: 4,992 anglers with 629 chinook and 8,664 coho. Average trip catch per angler is 1.74 for coho and 0.13 for chinook.

Total caught for the season is 975 chinook (18.1 percent of the catch quota) and 18,842 coho (21.4 percent of the catch quota).

WESTPORT

June 28: 777 anglers with 124 chinook and 539 coho.

June 29-July 5: 1,159 anglers with 160 chinook and 676 coho.

July 6-12: 2,222 anglers with 493 chinook and 2,600 coho.

July 13-19: 3,121 anglers with 763 chinook and 2,955 coho. Average trip catch per angler is 0.95 for coho and 0.24 for chinook.

Total caught for the season is 1,539 chinook (13.0 percent of the catch quota) and 6,771 coho (10.4 percent of the catch quota).

LA PUSH

June 27-28: 102 anglers with seven chinook and 165 coho.

June 29-July 5: 323 anglers with 43 chinook and 472 coho.

July 6-12: 314 anglers with 33 chinook and 389 coho.

July 13-19: 423 anglers with 80 chinook and 561 coho. Average trip catch per angler is 1.33 for coho and 0.19 for chinook.

Total caught for the season is 163 chinook (17.1 percent of the catch quota) and 1,587 coho (35.4 percent of the catch quota).

NEAH BAY

June 27-28: 223 anglers with 51 chinook and 117 coho.

June 29-July 5: 1,296 anglers with 201 chinook and 920 coho.

July 6-12: 1,347 anglers with 182 chinook and 1,226 coho.

July 13-19: 1,984 anglers with 475 chinook and 1,527 coho. Average trip catch per angler is 0.77 for coho and 0.24 for chinook.

Total caught for the season is 909 chinook (41.3 percent of the catch quota) and 3,789 coho (20.6 percent of the catch quota).

COAST WIDE

Total caught for the season is 30,988 coho (17.6 percent of the catch quota) and 3,586 chinook (17.5 percent of the catch quota) have been caught for the season. Average trip catch per angler is 1.30 for coho and 0.18 for chinook.
