Outdoor Emporium Customer Appreciation Day is Dec. 12

While the bitter cold weather has put most fishing and hunting activities on hiatus, there is a bunch of stuff happening indoors at the Outdoor Emporium store’s Customer Appreciation Day 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Dec. 12 at 1701 4th Ave. South in Seattle just south of Safeco Field.

Tom Nelson with Salmon University is hosting a tutorial the latest salmon fishing gear, and Glenn Hall from the FSN fishing show HawgQuest will be on-hand from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

The store will be cooking deep-fried turkeys for everyone to enjoy, plus coffee, cider and snacks. The store will also be offering free door prizes every hour.

Some of the demonstrations will include a free egg curing and jig painting seminars.

There will also be top outdoor manufacturer representatives in hunting, fishing, apparel, optics, knives, firearms, downriggers and more who will talk gear all-day long.

Also this is a good time to pick up that outdoor lover on your Christmas list from a wide range of special sale priced items in fishing, hunting, marine, camping, footwear, and tent products and more. Details: 206-624-6550 or www.sportco.com.
