The date for the Seattle Seahawks Fish & Feast Charity fundraiser in support of the Catch A Special Thrill for the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation has been set for May 16 at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center.

The organization is still looking for sponsorship for any companies or individuals who would like to support the event and charity.

The Seahawks’ players and coaches will host disabled and disadvantaged children from the local area for a morning of fishing followed by a barbecue lunch, entertainment, and auction featuring a variety of local and authentic Seahawks prizes.

Last year, the Seahawks helped raise $25,000 for the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation. The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation, established in 1991, provides disabled and disadvantaged children an opportunity to enjoy a quality outdoor recreational experience through the sport of fishing.

The foundation, based in Renton, takes over 12,000 children fishing each year.

This year’s sponsorship packages include a combination of fishing excursion tickets, VIP Seahawks Training Camp Experiences, VIP Seahawks Regular Season Game Experiences and more. Details: 206-355-7514 or e-mail Andrea Estes at andrea@ae-consulting.net or C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation Web site.
