The Discovery Channel is debuting their ten-part series titled LIFE on Sunday, March 21 at 8 p.m.
The series offers 130 stories from the natural world. Learn about life on earth, and the tactics animals and plants have developed to survive in the wild.
The series overview says this is evolution in action; individual creatures under extreme pressure to overcome challenges from adversaries and their environment, pushing the boundaries of behavior.
Cutting-edge cinematic techniques capture unprecedented, astonishingly beautiful sequences — birds running and dancing on the water’s surface in dazzlingly intricate displays of courtship and fidelity, fish outwitting predators by using their fins to take flight, flies competing in a mesmerizing eyeball inflation contest.
The remainder of the episodes will be aired on March 28, April 4, April 11 and April 18.
We are offering four tickets (each ticket admits two people) to an exclusive screening of the new series LIFE 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 18 at Landmark Metro Theaters in Seattle.
