Chinook daily limit increased in the ocean off Washington coast

The daily catch limit off the coast from Neah Bay south to Ilwaco will be increased from one to two kings starting Thursday, July 8.

State fisheries managers said there should be enough chinook in the sport quota to allow the more liberal catches this summer.

Anglers may keep two salmon per day. Only hatchery-marked coho may be kept, and have a missing adipose fin.
