Two Washington bass anglers compete next week in competitive tourney

Two anglers from Washington will be competing Aug. 5-8 in the FLW Outdoors Forrest Wood Cup bass tournament.

Pro anglers Ronald Hobbs Jr. of Orting and Sean Minderman of Spokane will be trying to win more than $500,000 at this year’s event held on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Georgia.

The pro qualifying field of 78 anglers hail from 21 different states.
