Singing in the rain and raving about the Lake Sammamish cutthroat trout fishing

If you can take being a duck on a rainy lake this weekend, then there is no doubt you should get into the action as anglers are still seeing some great cutthroat fishing coming out of Lake Sammamish.

I know one angler who had a 15 trout day this past week. Most are averaging 10 to 14 inches with the bigger ones pushing 17 inches.

Try trolling with a rainbow trout colored Needlefish spoon in size 2 or 3 or a Wee Tomic Plug in a rainbow trout color finish or perch scale color finish. Go with lead core lines if don’t have downriggers, and the fish are being marked in shallow water at depths of 10 to 15 feet.
