Come celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Mid-Sound Regional Fisheries Enhancement Group (RFEG) 6 p.m.-8 p.m. April 29 at the Tukwila Community Center, 12424 42nd Ave. South in Tukwila.
Join the group as it looks at two decades of working toward salmon recovery. A number of Trout Unlimited members have also been involved with the development of RFEG back in 1990.
A lot of projects have been successfully developed and completed in the King and East Kitsap counties, and the fish have benefitted from these efforts with tribes, private landowners, local governments, conservation districts and state agencies.
There will be Achievement Awards for some members our Congressional delegation who have been great supporters of our organization over much of the past 20 years, the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe and Suquamish Indian Tribe and the King Conservation and Kitsap Conservation Districts along with honoring the winner of this year’s Slade Gorton Legacy Award.
Cost to attend the event is a suggested donation of $20. Please RSVP. There will be a halibut dinner, plus a silent auction, a dessert auction. Details: 206-529-9467 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
