Baked salmon with an Asian twist and a hint of heat

My seafood recipe of the week comes from my wife’s niece Millie Yee in San Jose, California who makes an awesome Japanese infused salmon dish that packs a little heat.

Asian baked salmon

Ingredients

3 Tablespoons of mayonnaise

1 Tablespoon of wasabi powder (Japanese horseradish)

1 salmon fillet

1 sheet of baked nori (seaweed) long enough to cover top of the fillet

1/2 cup teriyaki sauce

Directions

Mix mayonnaise with wasabi powder.

Then top salmon with mixture.

Place nori on top of the salmon.

Then add another topping of the mixture over the nori.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Then top it off with teriyaki sauce and bake again for 10 to 15 minutes.
