It’s Reel Time trivia so put on your fishing thinking cap, and give me your answer

Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:

This is a 350-plus acre natural lake that is a proven trout fishing ground, and is planted annually with hundreds of thousands fingerlings, numerous plants of catchable-sized trout in the spring and a good dose of triploid trout. It is also one of the few western Washington lakes where anglers have a chance to catch a trout tipping the scales at 10-plus pounds.

The scenery alone and views of a grand mountain are worth the trip in itself. This lake is about 80 miles from Seattle and takes about two hours to get to. There is a dock and the bank access is pretty wide open making it easy for anyone with or without a boat. The early morning bite is best but you can catch fish all day long. It is open at the end of April through September, and is a lowland lake.

Where am I fishing?

The person to answer this question first will win a bag of Berkley Power Bait items, and a colorful and informative book titled 50 Fish to Catch in Your Lifetime by John Bailey.

Please email your answer to myuasa@seattletimes.com. The winner will be announced on Friday, June 17. Be sure to include an email or phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.

This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest through the summer where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.
