It’s Reel Time trivia so put on your fishing thinking cap

Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:

This is definitely a lake where anglers rule. Boats aren’t allowed to go faster than 5 mph.

It receives a plant of more than 25,000 catchable-sized trout every spring, plus about 50,000 rainbow fry that grow quickly. It is not a very deep lake about 25 feet and covers about 200-acres.

The trout action holds up well into June and then comes back to life in September and October. During the summer it switches over to largemouth and smallmouth bass, perch and bullhead fishing.

This lake is also open year-round, and is located in the southern portion of WDFW Region 4.

Where am I fishing?

The person to answer this question first will win a book titled 50 Fish To Catch In Your Lifetime by John Bailey and some Berkley Power Bait Products.

Please email your answer to myuasa@seattletimes.com. The winner will be announced on Friday, July 1. Be sure to include an email or phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.

This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest through the summer where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.
