Snoqualmie Pass Tunnel grand opening celebration is Tuesday, July 5

Come celebrate the grand reopening of the Snoqualmie Tunnel at Snoqualmie Pass 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, and meet at the eastern terminus of the tunnel near Hyak for the festivities with the Mountains to Sounds Greenway Trekkers and Washington State Parks.

Interested folks can sign up to bike with the group from the eastern portal down to Rattlesnake Lake.

Meet the Trekkers at the Hyak trailhead of the John Wayne Pioneer Trail, and walk up to the nearby tunnel portal for the celebration.

Driving up from the West, take Exit 54 toward Hyak/Gold Cr. Turn right onto WA 906. After less than a mile, turn left onto Rd 2219, and turn right into the big parking lot.

For more information go to the Mountains to Sound Greenway website.
