It’s Reel Time Trivia so put on your thinking fishing cap

Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:

In honor of Fourth of July there is some pride in the name of this 1,000-plus acre lake.

Who would’ve thought such a scenic lake could sit right in the middle of a bustling area that parallels the busiest interstate in Washington.

This lake offers kokanee, cutthroat, rainbow and smallmouth bass fishing. It is a year-round lake about 40 minutes away from Seattle (but more like 60-plus minutes during rush hour traffic), and there is a boathouse.

In the winter or early mornings you can have just about the whole lake to yourself, but once the weather warms up expect to be sharing the water with a lot of other recreationalists.

Where am I fishing?

The person to answer this question first will win some bag of Berkley Power Bait Products and some Berkley fishing line.

Please email your answer to myuasa@seattletimes.com. The winner will be announced a day later than usual – on Saturday, July 9 – since I will be out of the office until then. Be sure to include an email or phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.

This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest through the summer where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.
