Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:
This is a river set in one of the most pristine locations in Western Washington where the mountains collide with the ocean.
The tributaries (I’m not looking for the answer to those) of this river all provide excellent year-round fishing for a wide variety of species including salmon, steelhead and trout. The hottest fishing usually occurs during the coldest times of the year, and getting to this remote area can be treacherous when it snows or freezes up.
Where am I fishing?
The person to answer this question first will win a book titled River Monsters by Jeremy Wade, host of River Monsters on the Animal Planet Network and some Berkley Power Bait Products.
Please email your answer to firstname.lastname@example.org. The winner will be announced on Friday, July 15. Be sure to include an email or phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.
This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest through the summer where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.
