Local Ruffed Grouse Society to host Family Field Day in Renton

The Washington State Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society will hold a Family Field Day 11 a.m. July 30 at the Renton Fish and Game Club, 71205 S.E. 144 Street in Renton.

According to Bob Olson, this pay-as-you-go event will feature trap and skeet shooting, highlighted with a free Brats and Burgers Barbeque that includes potato salad, coleslaw, chips, beverage and cookies.

Along with bringing eye and ear protection, the only other requirement is for attendees to reply by July 27. To reply or for more details, call 425-649-5194 or email bgolson@q.com.

Established in 1961, the Ruffed Grouse Society is the one international wildlife conservation organization dedicated to promoting conditions suitable for ruffed grouse, American woodcock and related wildlife to sustain our sport hunting tradition and outdoor heritage.
