Former M’s pitcher Norm Charlton talks about his love of fishing

Former Seattle Mariner pitcher Norm Charlton was in our office this past Friday, as one of seattletimes.com’s live chat guests.

He talked about his baseball career, his playing days with the Mariners and his love of fishing, which he does three to four times a week where he lives in Rockport, Texas.

One quesiton was: Whats your favorite type of fishing?

Norm Charlton: Saltwater trout, wade fishing, middle of winter, on the full moon. Also a great eating fish. And we do practice catch and release. We catch ’em and release ’em in Lake Crisco.
