Walleye and bass fishing is decent in Columbia River area

Here are the latest reports by state Fish and Wildlife on walleye and bass fishing in the Columbia River region:

In the Lower Columbia below Bonneville Dam boat anglers in the Camas/Washougal area are beginning to catch some walleye.

In The Dalles Pool boat anglers averaged nearly two walleye and over 10 bass per rod. Bank anglers are also catching some walleye and bass.

In the John Day Pool walleye fishing has been very good with 33 boats and 75 anglers catching 105 walleye this past week.
