Wilderness Awareness School to host a seminar on wolves and wildlife of Washington

Come learn about wolves and other the wildlife of Washington 7 p.m. Thursday, July 21 at the Seattle REI Store.

The event is part of the Wilderness Awareness School’s Nature Talks with professional wildlife tracker and photographer David Moskowitz for an evening of captivating images and stories about wolves in our region.

Moskowitz will discuss his personal encounters with wolves in Washington and adjacent states and provinces with cutting edge research on the species’ ecological and conservation role in our region’s diverse landscapes.

Learn about the historic and contemporary cultural significance of this species in the Pacific Northwest and how citizen scientists have helped document the presence and distribution of wolves and other rare carnivores across the region.
