Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:
I’m located in Puget Sound, and while you can’t see me I’m a submerged ridge that looks like a horseshoe and located off the south side of a very popular island. This summer salmon fishing hasn’t been very good at this location, but when open it can produce salmon on a consistent basis even during the winter.
In the spring it offers some decent lingcod fishing. Tides tend to dictate which side you fish on, and you mainly see trollers working this vast underwater drop off.
Where am I fishing?
The person to answer this question first will win some Berkley Power Bait Products and an outdoors book.
Please email your answer to firstname.lastname@example.org. The winner will be announced on Friday, Aug. 12. Be sure to include an email or phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.
This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest through the summer where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.
