Congratulations to our Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia contest winner Brad Frankhauser of Bellevue who said the answer was “Possession Bar.”
Frankhauser grew up in Everett, a third generation Everett High School graduate.
As soon as he could hold a fishing pole he’d go out salmon fishing with dad Gus Fankhauser out of Everett.
Frankhause spent a lot of time during the summer growing up fishing off the docks in Lake Chelan, and currently fishes mostly out of Mukilteo and Shilshole either at Possession Bar or Jefferson Head.
Frankhauser mostly pursues salmon and lingcod, and really enjoys crabbing as well.
Also sounds like he’s got his two year old son really interested in fishing.
“He got his first fishing pole this summer, and was very excited about catching a rainbow trout at Lake Chelan last month.”
Frankhauser wins some Berkley Power Bait Products and a nice hardback fishing book.
This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest through the summer where the winner who answers the question first will receive an outdoor prize that will range from books, Berkley bait, lures and other nifty items from the outdoors gunnysack.
The next trivia question will be posted on Monday, Aug. 15.
Here are our rules for The Seattle Times contest.
