Here is the Reel Time Pacific Northwest fishing and outdoor trivia question of the week:
I’m 20 miles long and seven miles wide, and a Washington State ferry comes into one of my harbors. I’m surrounded by spectacular year-round fishing, and the southwest side of me is a good producer of salmon as well as some of the outer banks.
One of the local towns has the charm of what some say is like Maine on the East Coast. I’m surrounded by saltwater, but there are a couple of good trout fishing lakes as well. There was actually a “war” here many, many moons ago, and a general who played an important role and later became a confederate general at the Gettysburg battle.
This is a two answer question. Where am I fishing and who is the general?
The person to answer this question first will win some Berkley Power Bait Products and a book.
Please email your answer to email@example.com. The winner will be announced on Friday, Sept. 2. Be sure to include an email or phone number so we can ensure you’ll get your prize.
This will be an ongoing weekly trivia contest through the summer where the winner will receive a prize that will range from books, fishing gear and other cool items from the outdoors gunnysack.
