Congratulations to Jerry Rucker of Spanaway who is this week’s winner, and answered first by saying it was the “Snoqualmie River.”
Rucker enjoys spending time mostly trout fishing at American Lake and Spanaway Lake in Pierce County.
“(I) enjoy taking the kids out, and watching them reel in a nice trout and then taking them home and cooking them on the BBQ,” Rucker said. “I’m a retired Air Force Master Sergeant and was stationed at Anchorage, Alaska, where the fishing was out of this world. ”
“Another remarkable assignment was at Fort Meade, Maryland, and enjoyed the striped bass fishing (State fish of Maryland) and chicken necking for the blue crabs at the Naval Academy at Annapolis. Other memorable fishing areas I enjoyed were Key West, Florida, England and the Philippines.”
Rucker wins a nice hard-covered outdoor book.
