Plenty of dam breaching happening in Washington to clear the path for migrating fish

There is plenty of major dam demolishing work happening around Washington with the Elwha Dam being one of the major ones, but down in southwest Washington a 98-year-old dam is about to meet its fate as well on the White Salmon River.

Fisheries biologists are now in the process of transporting salmon to get them out of the way when a sediment plume will make its way downstream in late October.

Here is a story that ran in the Vancouver Columbian about the Condit Dam removal.
