Herbed lemon butter sauce salmon makes for speedy and tasty meal

Here is a quick and easy method of creating a delightful salmon dinner. A good side dish to this would either be a baked potato or rice pilaf, and some steamed vegetables.

Broiled Salmon with Herbed Lemon Butter Sauce

Six eight-ounce salmon fillets

2 tablespoons of lemon juice or freshly squeezed

2 tablespoons of chopped parsley

Half a teaspoon of crushed oregano, dill weed, marjoram and rosemary

1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

1/4 cup of melted butter or margarine

Mix all ingredients in a bowl, and preheat the oven broiler.

Line a pan with foil and place salmon fillets on with a thin coat of Pam.

Baste each fillet of salmon fillet.

Place salmon into the oven, and broiling time depends on the thickness of the salmon fillets. The general rule of thumb for broiling salmon is to allow 10 minutes for every inch of thickness of the fillet or steak or until salmon flakes easily when tested with a fork.
